Reads anything

.txt, .rtf, .docx, any text encoding. The garbage-character problem (’ showing as ’) is fixed automatically.

Never lose a script

Autosaves every 30 seconds and on every start and stop. Crash or close recovery on reopen. One key archives a timestamped backup to any folder, including Google Drive.

Software flip and mirror

No hardware flip monitor needed. Any display becomes a prompter output.

What you see is what scrolls

Editor line wraps match the prompter screen pixel for pixel. No surprises when the talent is reading.

Speaker color tagging

Color every “CDS:” or “CN:” line in one click. PrompterQ remembers your tags.

Cue markers tied to the text

Markers follow the words, not pixel positions, so they survive edits.

Reverse as fast as forward

±20 with hold-to-ramp. Timer with on-screen reset and percent progress.

Find is a locator

PrompterQ is a single HTML file that runs in Chrome, fully offline. Mac or Windows, plus a second display or prompter monitor. Nothing to install.

Do I still need an operator?

For a live show with a real audience, yes. PrompterQ is the software our operators run. For a self-shot video or a rehearsal, you can run it yourself.
